Recently Maddy Rodriguez wrote about her experience opening up for one of her favourite Canadian acts — One More Girl. A lot of us, even musicians, wonder what our favourite artists are like in person and hope they are as nice as they appear. When Maddy found out who she was playing with, she was so excited and couldn’t wait to meet them. She actually started jumping and screaming! I know, most of us wouldn’t admit when we do that, but she did and managed to keep her cool for the rest of the night to play a great show.
“They’re just great. And such sweethearts!” Says Maddy on meeting Carly and Britt, the front runners of One More Girl, the closing act that night.
