“Many of their biggest fans were there at the Horseshoe, but one of the benefits of the CHARTattack showcase was that there were quite a few people up near the stage that hadn’t seen them before. This six piece band works really well together, and are able to craft a set list with appropriate peaks and valleys, pulling these Amos newbies to the stage.” – Pete Nema
“The sheer power of “The M.O.B. Catalogue” has the crowd swaying and bobbing in unison, and the reminiscing lyrics and explosive chorus of “The Stale Scent Of Old Beer” drive the excitement so high bassist James jumps down from the Lee’s Palace stage to floor to play amongst the people in what was the pinnacle song of the set. Whether rocking out loudly, or playing some of their slower folk-influenced songs, this band pleases with their amazing performance.” – Sean McNamara
“During “Greater than Consequence,” Hyne’s song sung on this night by lead songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist Jonathan Chandler, half the audience jumped up on stage to sing the chorus. It was quite the moment, and looked like a spontaneous, celebratory move on the part of an elated group of fans. And then, after the band left the stage and the house lights were turned on, we got ourselves a two-song encore. Chants of “Amos! Amos! Amos!” are hard to ignore.” – Jen Polk
